Kylie had her first birthday today here’s some video of her opening her presents from mum and dad. Then she takes a walk around the house.
She’s getting so big now and always makes me proud.

About The Game:
Monkey Island is a fantastic adventure game from Lucaasarts. You play as a young wanna be pirate named Guybrush Threepwood. To become a pirate you have to perform 3 tasks to appease the pirate elders. While this is going on the Ghost Pirate LeChuck is trying to marry Governor Elaine Marley. It’s up to Guybrush to stop the evil LeChuck from completing his plans.
Why it’s a classic:
Where do I even begin? Despite the fantastic storyline the humour in this game is what makes it a classic. The game is literally laugh out loud funny. With things like insult sword fighting, giant monkey heads, ghosts, and a whole shwack of references to other lucasarts games this is one of the funniest most enjoyable adventure games of all time. If you havn’t ever checked this game out do it as soon as you can!

I’ve been playing a crapload of games this week. Instead of doing a “Latest Obsessions” I’m just going to do some quick 1 sentence reviews.
Samba De Amigo (Wii) - Controls are kinda crappy but the game is still crazy fun and worth the pickup - 7/10 (Pick of the Week)
Wario Land: Shake It! (Wii) - Wario turned into Saberman, not a bad thing. - 9/10
De Blob (Wii) - Best 3rd party, full priced Wii game to hit the system. - 8/10
Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood (NDS) - The best Sonic game since Sonic 3 and Knuckles and it’s not developed by Sega, imagine that. - 8/10
Line Rider 2 Unbound (NDS) - Fun little puzzle minigame not worth the price tag. - 5/10
Megaman 9 (WiiWare) - I don’t remember ANY game being this hard, ever. - 8/10
Current Obsessions: Peggle Nights Deluxe (PC)
Picked up Peggle Nights from Popcap earlier this week and finally got aound to give it a try. If you’ve never heard of Peggle think of a cross between pachinko and pinball. I’ve been playing with it for the past 2 hours and here’s my hands on so far!

Strong Badia The Free!
After finishing the first episode on Friday and then moving on to episode 2 on Saturday. I’ve finally been able to live my dream of becoming Strong Bad! After playing both of these games and already being a big fan of tell tale games and their Sam and Max episodes how did Strong Bad stack up against them? Are they worth your time and money? I’ve been feeling artsy lately so I decided to make some Jiggy’s. This is my first attempt at scuplting anything from foam so please bare with me.
They used to be nice and flat but when the paint dried the surface went slightly rough. I carved the Jiggy’s and then gave them 2 coats of white paint (the foam I used was grey so this was necessary as I did an earlier one and it turned out too dark after 6 coats of yellow!) Then 2 coats of yellow and then sprayed with varnish to give them the reflective look.
Latest Obsessions - Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Armed with my new love of Viva Pinata (thanks to the DS version of the game I reviewed earlier) we went out Friday and picked up Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise for the Xbox 360. It’s got awsome tv show tie ins fantastic new pinatas and 2 new areas of pinata island to discover and trap rare and more pinatas than ever before! How did I like it? Everyone must know of my Banjo-Kazooie love by now so I decided to share it with as many people as possible using guerilla marketing for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for the Xbox 360. Sure Microsoft and Rare have a huge marketing budget but much like Viva Pinata I don’t think this game is going to get any attention at all. Which sucks for all of us that are going to buy it since I want to trade blueprints and compete with more people!

Now I know this isn’t exactly over the top fantastic and hey someone can probably do better but I want to raise awarness for my favorite game series AND make my world a little more magical.
When I first made the set of eyes the idea was just to put them around the house on varying inanimate objects but then I thought “Hey, why not put these around town!” then it was “No one’s going to get the joke so might aswell advertise Banjo-Kazooie N&B while I’m at it!”

I’ve been playing Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise the newest Rareware game to be released on a Nintendo system over the past day or so. Featuring a totally over hauled and easier to use item and event system aswell as a much easier to navigate Pinata encyclopedia. The game has various different modes compared to its 360 counterpart and all of the pinatas you love are there too!
