About The Game:
Monkey Island is a fantastic adventure game from Lucaasarts. You play as a young wanna be pirate named Guybrush Threepwood. To become a pirate you have to perform 3 tasks to appease the pirate elders. While this is going on the Ghost Pirate LeChuck is trying to marry Governor Elaine Marley. It’s up to Guybrush to stop the evil LeChuck from completing his plans.
Why it’s a classic:
Where do I even begin? Despite the fantastic storyline the humour in this game is what makes it a classic. The game is literally laugh out loud funny. With things like insult sword fighting, giant monkey heads, ghosts, and a whole shwack of references to other lucasarts games this is one of the funniest most enjoyable adventure games of all time. If you havn’t ever checked this game out do it as soon as you can!

About The Game: In this mainly educational game you play as a green word muncher and walk around the board as you answer trivia questions that are displayed at the top. The idea is to eat the correct answers while dodging the troggles. For example if the top of the screen says “Types of fish” you have to eat all of the words that are types of fish “Perch, Flathead, Trout, etc.” while not eating any words that don’t relate to the question. There are also segments every three levels where an event will happen and you will have your memeory tested by choosing which Troggle just walked past.
Why it’s a classic: The hours I spent on this and math munchers when I was younger was crazy. The fun arcade style of gameplay and originality and vocabulary skills you can build with this is perfect. Yes it seems like a simple game but in the same sense so is pacman. It’s streight up arcade fun.

Ok so not the real Tower of Terror but I invested in Garry’s Mod on Steam and there’s a great map I saw a while ago that simulates the Tower Of Terror! (Grab it here)
See the rest of my trip after the break!

Although we are not in the business of reporting news, I would like te let everyone know that there has been a new
Sims 2 expansion pack announced.
The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff
Now if you listen to the podcast, you probably already heard me mentioning this before. Now it is officially on the Sims 2 website with information and screenshots.
The game doesn’t offer anf new features but it will contain a variety of IKEA items for different rooms of the house.
For more information check out the official Sims 2 website.
I would like to point out that I don’t care that EA are the biggest sell outs ever.

We do Easter presents in our family, nothing spectacular, just a little something. Deacon got Spiderman Mega Blcks, Kylie got some cool blocks and I got Hello Kitty Carnival Games for the PC. “Hooray!” I exclaimed. “Something my laptop can run… If it’s Vista compatible.” Today I decided to install the game and much to my dismay I got this warning. I’ll still be able to play it on our desktop’ which is fine, but I thought (after playing many older games on my laptop) that my first Vista incompatible game warrents a post.
