Building a Better Snorlax
Those of you who follow me on Twitter know that I have been talking cryptically about building a Snorlax from Pokemon. Now before you get too curious know that it’s nothing fantastically whimsical but I have had some fun, it’s just a small art project I started last night out of boredom.
I started with 3 coloured sets of post it notes.

Weekly Wrapup: Week of March 24 (Kiki)
My response to the “What have you been playing this week?” question on almost every podcast has been “nothing” so since I actually played something this week, I thought I’d post about it.
I just want to let everyone know that I love playing games and the only reason I don’t play many is because I simply do not have the time.
Here’s my list!
Filed under General | Comment (0)Quite the card collection
What this is:
My entire collectible card collection. There are Cardcaptors, Gundam Wing, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragonballz, Legend of the Five Rings and, of course, Pokemon cards. (including those you can only get from cereal boxes)

Where it originated:
Japan. Kids like to collect and cards sell, big time. Since Pokemon cards came out over here around 1998 cards have been very popular.
How we got it:
The Yu-Gi-Oh! and Gundam cards were bought by me, as I am a fan of both. Once upon a time I had a really impressive collection of Pokemon cards but a ex friend of mine took and sold them all. That bastard. Anyways, all thesecards came from my older cousin who abandoned a lot of cool shit when he went to university. My brother and I stole it all.
Is it rare/valuble:
Complete sets of Pokemon will get around $50 on Ebay and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are still popular so ther value will vary. Everything else will sell for minimal amouts. That being said, some of these cards, especially the original Pokemon cards, are fairly rare. I like them for nostalgia.

Help me out:
I just want to let everyone know that I’m only missing 8 cards from the Basic deck and 25 from the Jungle deck. Below are the lists of what I’m missing. If you have any extras that you can spare, contact me via the link on the right.
